The Dean
of the Studies manages the curriculum. |
Every
Lecturer is obliged to submit his/her lecture or the
outline of the lecture at least three days before the
actual lecture. |
Lectures
should include as much conversation and discussion as
possible. Every lecturer is obliged to encourage as many
students as possible to participate in the discussions. |
If
students are not satisfied with any of the lecturers,
they should report it to the Dean of the Studies. |
It is
desirable to provide students with as many practical
examples, photocopied materials and sessions in the
computer room as possible, as well as with sites and
links to valuable Internet sources. |
Every
lecturer is obliged to meet students’ requirements
regarding lectures and preparations of MA theses. If a
problem arises, they should speak to the Dean of the
Studies. |
Lecturers
should help students with their MA theses, finding
scholarships and study trips abroad. |
Head of
the programme discusses the curriculum and methodology
with the Dean of Studies. |
The Dean
of Studies chooses lecturers and visiting lecturers, in
consultation with the Council and especially with the
vice-president of the Council. |
Students
evaluate the work of every lecturer (especially those
who organise exams, seminars and programme lectures). On
the basis of anonymous survey, we make a list of the
best lecturers (summing all the marks they got from the
students – from 5-10). Two lecturers ranked at the
bottom of the list will not be included in the team of
the lecturers for the next generation, regardless of the
number of points they scored. |
